Murthy Kvvs is a poet,story writer,blogger and a translator in his own right with a touch of myriad hues in brief.Also edited a bulletin "The Books" (English) solely dedicated to carry out reviews on printed books of various languages,mostly Telugu books for outside world.Mr.Murthy born at Bhadrachalam,the temple town of Telengana state,in the year of 1965,june 7.

Obtained masters degree in Political science,English literature and Telugu literature from Osmania university.A diploma in journalism from AFJA, Chennai and he trained in translation from Central institute of Indian languages (CIIL) Mysore.He also worked for Udayam (Telugu daily),Vaarta (Telugu daily) and other publications as a news contributor for a short stint in the initial years of writing.His first piece of writing contribution "Dravida bhaasha parampara"  placed in Eenadu (Daily) in 1984 during the days of graduation.

His poems and essays published in many prominent publications like Andhra Prabha, Andhra Patrika, Visalandhra, Praja Sakti, Abhyudaya, Andhra Jyoti, Kadhanjali and many to name out here."Sparsha" is his first book of poem collection brought out in 1990. Eminent art critic and writer Dr.S.Sanjiv Dev prefaced the book."Sudarsanam" is the second collection of poems in 1993.


  • The real bang came out with his translation work. Mr.Murthy rendered Mario Puzo's magnum opus "The God Father" into Telugu in 2015 and it turned out to have a huge response from the readers of Telugu world. Widely acclaimed by critics and lay readers as well for its magnanimous quality of bringing out the soul of the original novel.

  • "Murthys Musings" is another book penned by him. This rare collection of essays on popular English novels would open the doors of flooded thoughts on selective outstanding writers. And which encompasses the real ground-level issues one would confront in the path of English speaking, with the context of Telugu people in particular.  
  •  Mr.Murthy translated Ernest Hemingway's "The Old man and the Sea" into Telugu. The title given in Telugu is "Oka vruddudu - Samudramu".The Cuban fisherman depicted in this influenced world literature that could hardly be compared with any other. Well received in Telugu too.
  • "Dante Wada" a story collection of the finest quality with the words of Yandamuri Veerendranath as a trendsetting anthology of short stories.
